Eligibility

Working within the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service our charity is available to all serving & retired personnel and their dependents.

We continue to provide our services to registered Beneficiaries and Retired employees of Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and the predecessor Fire Organisations.

McMurray Cottage

Our Respite facility, McMurray Cottage, is located in the picturesque coastal village of Portpatrick, approx. 8 miles from the busy town of Stranraer.  Our cottage, built around c1808, meets all modern requirements and can comfortably accommodate 6 people.

Our Respite facility is free of charge subject to eligibility and diary availability.

Rent and Donate opportunities are available, when not in use for respite, to help provide valuable income for SFRS Family Support Trust.
